Hi friends!
During our slow season, we try to keep busy.
Even though we may not have as many customers as we do during the holidays, we still have plenty to do!
Christmas is right around the corner after all...
This is the time when we start preparing. Not making the chocolates, but everything else that goes along with your purchase.
During the summer season after our much-needed Fourth of July break, we come back rested and ready to work...mostly.
It does take us a little while to get out of vacation mode, but once we do, bring on the boxes.
All the boxes that we have, from the two-pounder, to the small two-piece box, have to be built and stickered. We do this during our slow time so that when you order something the box is ready to go and we are able to serve more customers quickly.
Yes, this is tedious. Yes, we get extremely tired of stickers and boxes.
But, there is always work to be done!
We also use this time to think up new ideas and see what new, delicious, and adorable treats we can create!
We love to create new items for you, and while we have had our share of hits, we have also had about the same amount of duds.
The motivation never falters though, we love what we do!
